• Account registration details: name, company name, email, phone number, address
• Billing information: GST number, bank account details for settlement (payment cards are not stored — handled by PCI-DSS certified processors)
• Support communications: tickets, chat transcripts, and call records
• Product configuration data provided during onboarding

Information collected automatically:

• Log data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
• Usage data: feature usage, session duration, error logs (anonymized)
• Device information: operating system, screen resolution, device type
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)

Subscriber data (for ISP CRM customers):

• ISP customers provide subscriber data (end-user names, addresses, connection details) to use within our CRM platform
• Kynex acts as a data processor for this subscriber data — the ISP is the data controller
• We process subscriber data only as instructed by the ISP customer

3. How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery: To provision, operate, and maintain the services you have subscribed to
• Billing & Payments: To process payments, generate invoices, and manage subscriptions
• Customer Support: To respond to enquiries, resolve issues, and provide technical assistance
• Product Improvement: Anonymized usage analytics to improve platform features and performance
• Communications: Service updates, security notices, renewal reminders, and product announcements
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable Indian laws, including TRAI, DoT, and NPCI regulations

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS/Azure), SMS gateways, and payment processors — bound by confidentiality agreements
• NPCI/Banks: For BBPS and payment processing, as required by NPCI regulations
• Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or government authorities under Indian law
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — with prior notice to customers

5. Data Security

• All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3
• Sensitive data at rest is encrypted using AES-256
• Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
• We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing
• Payment card data is never stored on Kynex servers — handled by PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processors

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon termination:

• Account data is retained for 30 days for export, then securely deleted
• Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law (GST Act)
• Log data is retained for 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes

7. Your Data Rights

Under applicable Indian privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes

8. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies for functionality and analytics. Types of cookies used:
